Magic Sells Beer – Working Smarter Saves You Money

Part 3 of a Continuing Series…

In today’s economy we need to spend our sales and marketing dollars wisely. While the A-B Master Illusionist Program has always tried to keep program fees and travel expenses to a minimum, this has now become a top priority.

There are many instances when I am brought in for a function that only lasts a couple of hours, such as to kick off a retailer’s morning meeting, a grand opening appearance, or as dinner banquet entertainment. Everyone in the beer business knows that this is not a five-day-a-week, 9 to 5 job. When I come into a market I’m there to assist you in selling beer. That’s my job. I’m always saying, “Work me, that’s what I’m here for!” Just keep in mind that I’m not a machine…I do need to eat and sleep! ?

In order to control costs, I make every effort to coordinate with our wholesalers and field sales by trying to tie in other promotions while I’m in an area. Typically this includes trade calls or military base promotions. These types of promotions can be done at almost any time and will allow you to split appearance costs and maximize your marketing dollars.

This program also makes a strong effort to schedule tours, which will result in discounted pricing and allow travel costs to be shared, which saves everyone money.

More than anything else, the point I want to make is that we’re a team. I’ll work with you anyway I can to help you with your event or promotion. If you have an idea to bounce off me, or can’t decide if it makes sense to bring me in, give me a call. I promise you open and honest communication and will do whatever I can to work within your budget.

“Magic Sells Beer” is my way of creating an open forum for sharing ideas and thoughts about the A-B Master Illusionist Program. If you have any suggestions on how I can make this program more accessible for your market, please let me know in the comment section.
